PRC Personal Information Protection Law:

Challenges to Business and HR Management

When: 14:45 -16:00, Thursday, Jul 21 2022

Where: Zoom Webinar

Language: English

The PRC Personal Information Protection Law was promulgated on 20 August 2021 and has become effective on November 1, 2021. The new law refines the rules on processing personal information and cross-border provision of personal information, rights of individuals in processing activities, obligations of personal information processors, etc. It imposes considerable challenges on companies in processing personal information in daily operation, including processing the personal information of business partners and consumers while doing business and processing the personal information of employees for HR management purposes.

What challenges will the law bring to companies during daily work, especially for business and HR management? How should companies deal with personal information properly and legally?

During this webinar, data protection and labor law experts will provide an overview of the law and share their insights.
